Jerry was born and raised in New York's lower Hudson Valley. He earned an A.A.S. degree in advertising and commercial art from Dutchess Community College, the highest ranked community college in the nation. While there he also completed a series of independent studies focused on cartooning. Jerry then went on to the Savannah College of Art & Design and earned a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. After college Jerry first became a political cartoonist. His daily cartoons were syndicated throughout Florida and he was the most read cartoonist in the state during the 2000 election controversy. HLI-9300SL extended battery

Later he set political cartoons aside and focused on his syndicated cartoon strip, Gunchello. The strip was carried by three different national syndicates over a four year period. Since 1997 Jerry has been building his illustration career by refining his skills and growing a long list of happy clients. His illustrations have been used by publishers, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, corporations, non-profits, and independent authors. He has had the opportunity to work in a variety of styles and on a variety of different projects.

Jerry works today from his home studio where he uses state-of-the-art digital tools that emulate traditional media like paints and ink. These tools help Jerry complete projects faster and with higher quality than ever before.
